I did them as padded ornaments so I put batting behind the Aida and then glued it to some nice backing board I got at SCRAP for $.25. Then I attached the backing fabric that I also got at SCRAP to another piece of backing board and glued the two halves together and used the cording to hide the gap. I thought it turned out well.
On to the October teapot! I started it but realized that I had got off after about 30 minutes of stitching so it's time to frog :(
Very nice, may have to try that style ornament at some point, very elegant.
