I had to find a good present for my brother-in-law for Christmas.  So, I settled on this.  Just have to order the 25 count mushroom lugana.

To answer the question, yes it is cross stitch but the majority of the piece is blackwork.

    That's beautiful, Joy! Is it needlepoint, embroidery, or crewel? Doesn't look like cross stitch. Lot of specialty stitches to keep it interesting?
